These mark making atmospheric works are painstakingly slow to create, this one has extra layers, and the smaller mark making takes so much longer. A process that has become a therapy of it's own. They are quite mesmerising to look at. The chaos in the layers below is masked by the organic and repetitive mark making creating a veneer, calling on memory and association.
