This cheerful work is the perfect mini artwork to add to your collection, the textural theme of mark making over a background creates a veneer obscuring what lies below. An emotive work using the small shapes of the banksia flowers. The colours are inspired by one of my still life works featuring native flowers. The banksia flowers are now dried in my studio, focusing on this tiny detail keeps me distracted and focused, to the extent that it is quite therapeutic.
