This work features a deep ochres and juicy deep tangerines, hints of golden yellow, apricot and coral. Evoking memories of my travels through farmlands to the dam in the Western Cape during harvest, after the burn when smoke and sunsets deepened the view and the light on horizon. The veneer of brushstrokes result in a calming and tranquil look and feel.

This work was completed in 2024. This series has a higher price point than other mark making work in my portfolio, due to the complexity of the compositions.
