This detailed work, in olive and buff tones. A mini artwork to add to your collection, the textural theme of mark making over a background creates a veneer obscuring what lies below. An emotive work using the small shapes of the banksia flowers. The colours are inspired by one of my still life works featuring native flowers. The banksia flowers are now dried in my studio, focusing on this tiny detail keeps me distracted from everything and focused as the same time, to this extent it is therapeutic.
