The story behind the original work - This work is inspired by my surroundings and nature. This work is in oil, a vibrant piece of joy. This coral ocean inspired work is probably the biggest work I have painted, it took many weeks and is full of colour and movement. Full of thick impasto brush strokes this work has many many layers, there is a fullness to the final brush strokes giving it that sense of the texture and depth, the limited palette still pushes the boundaries with colour, so many shades of blue, green and pink.
