A large vibrant work in this series measuring 93cm X 93cm- Framed in Tasmanian Oak.
Full of sunset colours, or ochre, sienna and peach sunsets, a memory and association with my time spent on a farm in the Western cape in SA.
This work evolved from an experimental process over the last 4 years, this work is part of a body of work where the focus moves to the tiny details of the banksia and protea flowers and the shape of the little flowers within.
These brush strokes are usually purposefully unconnected, the space between has as much significance as the organic shaped brush strokes. The size and form are dictated by the type of brush and the painting mixing.
