With spring just a few months away, this work is inspired by memories of Cherry blossoms in my garden growing up in the UK. This work has many layers to it, with the initial layers in bold colours, and micro mark making, overlaid with the square macro brush strokes. Incorporating the tiny banksia shaped mark making, and added layers of impressionist brush strokes bringing a whole new dimension to the impasto paint below.
A celebration of colour, and nature, this original work is part of my series of mark making works, taking abstract scenes from nature, layering creating an emotive work, with a meditative quality. The colours are full of depth and light, a warmth full of the richness of the garden and landscapes, fresh greens yellow and gold.
International buyers will be invoiced for shipping once we obtain a quotation based on your delivery address. We use Australia postal services and only cover the actual charges. If the package exceeds the normal limited we will obtain quotations from a suitable courier service. Any additional import duties are for the art collectors account and arrangements.
